About Tom
If you’ve browsed enough NFL websites in your time, this is normally where one would find a nicely pasted Wikipedia page with all the finer points on Tom Crabtree’s life, family, and career.
That is something you won’t find here.
Of course Tom has a Wikipedia page, everyone does, but a single page with a few stats hardly begins to scratch the surface of the man under the helmet.
It would be nice if a player could make regular blog posts, hold live events every week, and take us through their daily lives on an hour by hour basis. However, the fact of the matter is they can’t, and that includes Tom Crabtree.
That’s where I come in as Tom’s biographer.
The guy he smartly objectively blindly picked to help document his life as a Green Bay Packer.
The guy who gets to hang with Tom, meet the family, and get a glimpse of the life inside the NFL. Me, Alex Tallitsch from FSPR.
I know, it’s a tough gig, but it beats doing nothing.
Tom has no desire to try and fool his fans into thinking that everything on his web page is designed, written, and comes directly from the hand of number eighty-three. It would be nice if Tom could sit around and pen his thoughts on a regular basis, but the fact of the matter is Tom kind of has a real job, playing football, for your Green Bay Packers.
It constantly amazes me how truly committed Tom is to his profession. Besides taking care of his family, playing football is always the top priority in Tom’s life. He doesn’t let anything come between him and his success on the field.
Not twitter, not his fans, not his website.
It may sound cliche, but Tom Crabtree is simply focused on football, period.
That said, playing football is what Tom does, but not who Tom is. We want to take you further under the helmet than you’ve ever been before. Of course there are certain rules and boundaries that must be abided by, but together, we can take you inside the mind and the daily life of a Green Bay Packer with unprecedented access and honesty.
We hear on a daily basis how fans wish they could just get a day to hang out with an NFL guy to see what it’s like. Tom Crabtree has graciously given me the opportunity to do just that, no holds barred. Tom, along with myself, hope we can give you the most in-depth look on what it feels like to live and be a part of an NFL player’s life on a daily basis, both through his eyes and my own.
You can learn a lot from stats, and tweets, and media articles. But, you will never know what it’s like until you live it. We both want to take you a little further into that world.
We promise to be engaging, unique, and provide content that has never been explored before.
